Aluminium composite panel (sometimes known as ACM, sandwich panel, sandwich board, signboard, Alpolic panel or Alucobond) is a versatile, corrosion resistant material with outstanding mechanical properties. ACM is lighter than solid materials such as aluminium or stainless steel sheets, with a comprable level or rigidity. ACM consists of a low density polyethylene core sandwiched between two aluminium faces. This combination of materials is what gives ACM its excellent weight versus strength/rigidity ratio.
